Hello again—it’s The Grocery Cart Poet. YOu asked me to let you know if I wrote an ode to bacon. Well, I did it. At least, I think it’s an ode! After looking at innumerable references, I decided that nobody knows for certain just what is required to make a poem an “ode” so I picked one I liked and copied the rhyme scheme and meter….’course, I changed the words a bit.
I love it!
