I heart bacon too! I actually didn’t realize how much I ‘hearted’ bacon until I started posting recipes and well, I had to make a concerted effort to include sides, apps and entrees that actually were baconless. Why? (Really a valid question, why cook without bacon?) I suppose for variety sake? Bacon, pork, prosciutto and pancetta show up in my pan and on my plate all the time!
My husband loves bacon and prefers pork to any other meat. And I love to cook them for him.
Needless to say that I love pork too, but I usually prefer chicken and veal because they are leaner.
I really dont see how any body could not eat meat anyway… sometimes your just give me some meat!! lol
Wow, that’s beautiful. Same thing happened to my sister. 3 years of vegetarianism, then one day at one of our weekend bbq’s she couldn’t resist the ribs any longer. My bro makes amazing ribs. Then after that, we had to go to Korean bbq for pork belly and bulgolgi. Never forsake the bacon.
Hurray! You’re back!
Megan?
um, hi! i really am alive. just busy. and perhaps a touch lazy…
Megan,
You’ve been busy/lazy for too long.
Yay! A post! A post!
Lazy? You were GONE. Come back!
Bacon is still good, just in case you needed to know.
xo
Whoo hoo!!! Let the trickle become a torrent.
Nice to see you in any case, Meg.
