And its’ name is BACON SALT.
I met with Dave, one of the geniuses behind Bacon Salt, a few weeks ago to try out the product. I was leery because of my past experience with Bacon Spray, but this stuff is the real deal. Completely tastes like bacon. And it’s fantastic on fries. And chicken. And maybe even licked straight out of the container.
The only thing to remember is that this is indeed salt, and unlike other things (i.e. bacon), you actually CAN have too much salt. So use it judiciously. But use it often.
That sounds like something to add to the Snack-O-Matic:

i love bacon more than i love daisies in the sunshine. bacon makes my world go round. on my mantel i have a picture of the virgin mary, a glass of wine a dollar bill and a strip of bacon. bacon is way better than any other breakfast meat. and what about turkey bacon you ask? well turkey bacon is regular bacon’s bitch. thats just the way it be.

Here, here! (Or is it “Hear, hear!”) In either case, I agree. I bought 12 bottles of this stuff and it rocks.

oh my i think we’ve finally made it to the promised land, or else bacon salt is the 3rd sign of the apocalypse. i’m leaning (drooling, actually) towards the former.
perhaps the idea of bacon salt is offensive to some, though. consider how this ninja pig would feel knowing you cooked up his assassin juices.

Hi,
My name is Kyrsten Bean and I work at Seal Press. I came across your blog while I was doing research for our book Sex and Bacon: Why I Love Things That Are Very, Very Bad For Me (Seal Press / May 2008) by Sarah Katherine Lewis. I noticed that you are interested in bacon. Lewis is a Seattle Local and doing an event at Elliot Bay Books in Seattle on May 10th at 7:30pm and I thought you & your readers would be interested in attending.
This book is Lewis’ homage to a hunger for food and for sex and other experiences that can end up being “very, very bad for you” especially because they feel so good. We really want to reach out to the fans of bacon and let them know about this unique, hilarious reading. We’d love to send you an advanced readers copy to preview, and/or giveaway on your blog or to your community, and please let us know if there is any way we can work with you since we both are so passionate about Sex and Bacon.
Feel free to contact us for more information! We love your site!
Best,
Kyrsten Bean
